Tulasii brings our own personal collection of vintage Banjara neck yokes lovingly sourced from Rajasthan, India, to create these very special, one-off lounge robes.

The heavily embroidered, appliquéd and mirrored patch would once have been the front of the traditional dress worn by the nomadic Banjara tribe of India, famed for their exquisite hand stitching and mirror work.

Banjara features a beautiful loose and semi-open sleeve inspired by the traditional kimono-style of Japan, and has a separate waist sash that allows you to wear the robe loose and open or softly wrapped. Every robe features one of these incredibly intricate and detailed vintage Banjara patches on the back, with every single piece completely unique - no two are the same.

Made from the softest cotton, you'll want to live in it - designed wearing for at home and for going out. Wear it over shorts in Summer or over jeans in winter for a stylish and trans-seasonal bohemian statement piece (it can double as a wrap dress, too).

Tulasii has worked with our small team of sewers in Bali, Indonesia, to create these very special limited -edition, one-of-a-kind lounge robes. Ethically made in small batch orders by an all-female team of sewers who we collaborate closely with, ensuring they can work from their own home studio to support sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their family.

Free size // Tulasii robes are designed to be worn open and loose, and are suitable for sizes 8 - 16 (AUS).

Sleeve (from neck): 160 cms - 162 cms

Length: 128 - 130 cms

Width: (from shoulder to shoulder): 56 cms - 58 cms

Note: Every Banjara patch is slightly different in colour variation and size due to the vintage nature of these pieces, with patch sizes varying between 40 cm - 45 cm in length and 25 - 28 cms in width. Therefore every patch will differ slightly from the robe shown here. Due to the handmade nature of these robes, there may be a very minimal difference in measurements per piece.
