A beautiful example of the traditional tribal necklace worn by the Banjara women of Rajasthan, with a modern twist. We have collected genuine vintage pieces on our travels to create these coin necklaces, which have been personally re-strung by us, by hand on to suede cord. This necklace can be worn full length, double wrapped or tied up at the back to create a shorter choker style.
Wear it as a statement neckpiece on its own or layer it up with some of our other tribal-inspired jewels.
Length: Approximately 56cm
Materials: Mixed Metals, suede cord
Each of our Banjara coin necklaces is one-off and completely unique - no two are the same. These items have been handcrafted using vintage pieces, and many of the coins and their engravings are irregular and imperfect, some showing signs of dents, scratches and missing links, stones and discolouration. This should not be considered faults but rather markings of their history and the tribal culture where each piece has originated from.
Please inspect images carefully before purchasing.
Note: Many of our products have been sourced from fair trade artisans, with each piece made by hand. Slight imperfections, if any, are all a part of the character of Tulasii's collections - artisans items with a tale to tell.
