A classic Bagru print in black with beige floral designs, hand-stamped and created using natural dyes derived from plants and minerals by master artisans in Bagru, a traditional block print community just outside of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. We source all of our block print fabric from ethical suppliers and family-run small print houses to support a slow fashion, fair trade, and sustainable design ethos.
Made from a beautifully soft and lightweight cotton fabric that is perfect for every season - warm enough as a light coverup in winter yet breathable and cool enough to wear right through summer.
This new Tulasii style can do double duty as a mid-length jacket or lounge robe and is designed to be worn loose and relaxed both at home and as a statement fashion piece. It features two oversized pockets, a detachable belt and wide mid-length sleeve with piped detail which can be worn long and loose or rolled up.
We have worked closely with our ethical fashion partners at Saheli Women to produce these special signature pieces for Tulasii, an NGO-run initiative by IPHD supporting financial independence, support, and empowerment for rural women in the village of Bhikamkor, Rajasthan, India.
Ethically made, artisan-produced slow fashion with a purpose.
Tulasii robes are free size, meaning they can be worn by a range of standard sizes. Suitable for AUS size 8 - 14 if worn wrapped and tied, or up to an AUS size 16 - 18 if for open and loose.
